EXERA is a non-profit association of companies and organisations that invest heavily in instruments and in measurement, control and automation systems.
Since its creation in 1974, EXERA has striven to publish and diffuse hitherto unpublished information to help its members select, install and operate equipment and systems.
EXERA is above all a CLUB, i.e., a structure that brings together users for the free exchange of experiences and information of all types regarding instrumentation and systems.
EXERA acts primarily through its members, by organising technical evaluations of equipment and instigating the publication of selection guides for various technical fields. It also works to develop constructive dialogue with manufacturers, in the form of partnerships.
In addition, EXERA co-operates with its members in producing methodological studies to define architectures, design Automated Production Systems and write specification sheets.
Since 2002 EXERA has a branch in ITALY (www.clui.it). Several italian technical commissions are very active and have already produced important reports.
EXERA has a close partnership with two similar associations : E.I. http://www.evaluation-international.com in Great Britain and WIB http://www.wib.nl in Netherlands. This partnership is called EWE (E.I. - Wib - Exera).
